Newark Mentoring Movement’s mission is to transform our community by preparing youth to succeed in life, through positive mentoring relationships.We work to increase the quality and quantity of mentoring relationships serving Newark youth.We are not a direct-service mentoring program. Rather, we are a network for organizations and individuals seeking to serve Newark youth through mentoring.

Mentoring in Schools
Our vision for Newark is that all school-aged youth have supportive, high-quality mentoring relationships with adults and older youth in their community, complementing family relationships. Newark Mentoring Movement partners directly with schools to implement school-based mentoring support and develop a school-wide culture of mentoring.
