Partner Overview
Unified Vailsburg Services Organization is a 501(c)(3)-designated, human services and community development agency serving the Vailsburg community in the West Ward of Newark since 1972. It was founded by a neighborhood coalition of clergy, civic leaders and concerned Vailsburg residents to manage change and address service shortages in the community.
Service Overview
To achieve this mission, we provide a comprehensive program of services for children, teens, families, and senior citizens as well as encourage neighborhood improvement through community outreach and housing development. Unified Vailsburg Services Organization provides academic enrichment with foundation support in math/reading and recreation to support fine and gross motor skills. See list of services below:
