Partner Overview
The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program has been around since 1971 and is staffed by trained volunteers in different localities. Volunteers go through specific IRS training to prepare them to help in tax preparation of simple returns. VITA Centers provide free tax return preparation for individuals and families earning $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and taxpayers with limited English language fluency.
Service Overview
Weequahic Park Sports Authority provides sport instruction for tennis, boxing, soccer and flag football. The program is available to children ages 4 and up and is for Boys and Girls.
